At the left, the white building is Frank Gehry’s office for Barry Diller and in the center is the Jean Nouvel’s luxury condo, with elevators to bring the cars up to each owner’s floor.

Richard Neutra, FAIA and AIA Gold Medal Recipient

Richard Neutra (1892-1970), best known for his California houses, designed one house in Washington,DC in a park like setting, for Ann and Donald Brown (1968).  It is also supposedly the last house he did in the U.S. before he moved to Germany.  More recently, Heather Cass,FAIA did an addition to the house.

Richard’s son, Dion was his last partner,Image continues the firm and fights to preserve  his father’s projects.  Richard Neutra’s Gettysburg Visitors Center was demolished this year by the National Park Service.
