The backdrop for Fallon’s show is wooden models of prominent buildings in Manhattan skyline. Not nearly the tallest but two of the most visible are by Johnson, the Chippendale and Lipstick buildings.

President Teddy Roosevelt’s Church
Grace Reformed Church, 15th St. was where Teddy belonged when he was president, and during his term he laid the cornerstone for the building, which was designed by Paul Pelz and A.A. Richter, with sculpture by James F. Earley. Pelz is best known as half of the team that designed the Library of Congress. While Roosevelt walked to church, he is best known for his horse riding prowess against the Spaniards.
